Boat as Cargo
Boat as cargo: Customs clearance, either in entrance or exit is a very long and bureaucratic process in Brazil. So, in order to facilitate this procedure, the organization has made available an experienced company in dealing with international events – SAX Logistics. The internal transportation for boats as cargo will also be managed by SAX Logistics.
Cargo must arrive at GUARULHOS (GRU) airport.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- All shipments must come into Brazil with freight under prepaid basis, and with the value shown on the shipping documents (AWB). Term such as “Freight as agreed” are strictly prohibited by Brazilian Customs law.
- All shipments containing any kind of WOODEN MATERIAL (PALLETS, CRATERS, PACKAGES, ETC) MUST BE FUMIGATED before being ship to Brazil, and the “certificate of fumigation” must be sent with the original Documents.

O/B (NAME OF TEAM)
Invoice must contain the following information:
- Number of packages;
- Gross and net weight – per packages and total;
- Dimensions;
- Complete descriptions of goods, mentioning all item, serial and part numbers ( if available). Do not use any kind of code;
- Unit price and total price in US Dollar;
- Itemized net and gross weight (this must be correct, as customs may check the weight of each single item);
- The Commercial Invoice for all items need to state INVOICE / PACKING LIST on it.
Any of above mentioned documents must bear the following declarations:
“Goods to be admitted under temporary admission terms only for 2007 Slalom World Championships from 19/09/2007 to 23/09/2007 in FOZ DO IGUAÇU , BRAZIL and will be re-exported afterwards. – No Commercial Value – Declared Value for Customs Purposes Only”
